Terms of sale and use

1. Purpose and parties

These terms govern the use of the MineRaid service and the purchases made on it. The service is provided by MBZH, 1 rue Amiral Nielly, 29200 Brest, France, registered with the Brest trade register under SIREN 487 493 819 ("MineRaid"). Using the service means accepting these terms.

2. Definitions

• Raid: a space opened by a content creator or a community (the "Beneficiary"), linked to a Bitcoin address they provide.
• Add of power: the rental, by MineRaid, of a set amount of computing power (in TH/s or PH/s) for a set duration, pointed at a mining pool for the benefit of the Raid's address.
• Balance: an amount in euros prepaid by the User, usable only for Adds of power.
• User: a person with a MineRaid account.

3. Nature of the service: what the User receives and does not receive

By making an Add of power, the User buys a service: the rental of the power shown, for the duration shown, for the benefit of the chosen Raid, and its live display. The User receives no financial return: no bitcoin, no share of any block reward, no token, no prize. Any block reward is paid by the pool to the Beneficiary's address, and to the Beneficiary alone.

The service is neither gambling nor a game of chance, nor an investment, nor a crypto-asset service: MineRaid holds no digital assets on behalf of Users and offers no purchase, sale or exchange of cryptocurrencies. The real odds of finding a block, usually very low, are shown at all times.

4. Account and age

An account is created by signing in through a third-party platform (Twitch, Discord, Google). The User must be 18 or older or, if a minor, have the permission of their legal guardian, which they confirm on their first top-up. The User is responsible for the use of their account.

5. Prices

The price of an Add of power equals the rental cost on the computing power marketplace plus 10% fees, of which 5% goes to the Beneficiary and 5% to MineRaid. The full price, its breakdown and the duration are shown before any confirmation. Prices are in euros (VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French tax code (CGI)) and follow the market; the applicable price is the one shown at confirmation.

6. Balance

• The Balance is topped up by card through a licensed payment service provider. MineRaid never has access to card numbers.
• Top-ups from €5 to €100, up to €200 per 24 hours (amounts may change and are always shown before payment).
• The Balance is in euros, earns no interest, and cannot be transferred to another User, converted into cryptocurrency or withdrawn.
• It can only be used for Adds of power on MineRaid. It does not expire while the account is open.
• When the account is closed, at the request of the User or of MineRaid, any unused Balance is refunded to the original payment method within 30 days.

7. Order and performance

An Add of power is confirmed by clicking the payment button showing the price. The amount is then debited from the Balance and the rental starts at once; the power reaches its nominal level within one to two minutes. If the machine offered has just been rented by someone else, nothing is debited and an alternative may be offered.

8. Right of withdrawal

For a Balance top-up, a consumer User has 14 days to withdraw; the unused part of the Balance is then refunded. For an Add of power, the User expressly requests immediate performance of the service by confirming it and acknowledges that, the service being fully performed at the end of the duration shown, they can no longer withdraw from that add once it has been performed (article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).

9. Incidents and refunds

If a rented machine stops delivering its power and the marketplace refunds the rental, the amount of the Add is automatically credited back to the User's Balance. Apart from this case, power already delivered is not refundable. MineRaid does not guarantee that a block will be found.

10. User obligations and suspension

The User undertakes to use payment methods they own or are authorized to use, and not to misuse the service. In case of fraud, abusive payment disputes or breach of these terms, MineRaid may suspend or close the account; any Balance funded by regular payments is then refunded under article 6.

11. Liability and availability

MineRaid strives to keep the service available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation, which also depends on third-party marketplaces, pools and platforms. MineRaid's liability is limited to the amount of the Adds concerned, except in case of gross negligence or willful misconduct and within the limits set by law.

12. Beneficiaries

The Beneficiary warrants that they control the Bitcoin address they provide. Their share of the fees (5%) is paid to them under the terms agreed with MineRaid.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. Consumers also benefit from the mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence. Failing an amicable agreement, the competent courts are those designated by law.
